Hi, I’m Bec Butcher

I’ve spent over 15 years working inside the homes of professional and UHNW families — as a nanny, a personal assistant, and, for many families, both at once. Bec N Call grew out of that experience: I know what genuinely reliable, discreet support looks like, because I’ve been providing it for a decade and a half.

I trained as a teacher, completing a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies followed by a PGCE at Oxford Brookes University, and spent a year in the classroom as a Year 1/2 teacher. But it’s the years either side of that — over 15 years, in fact — spent working directly with families, that has shaped what I do now.

I’ve worked in sole-charge, live-in and live-out roles for professional and UHNW families, caring for children from newborns to teenagers, including families with several children at once. Alongside childcare, I’ve managed household budgets and utilities across multiple properties, coordinated household staff and contractors, planned complex international travel, and stepped in as proxy parent when families needed it most.

That dual background — early years education and hands-on household management — is what sets Bec N Call apart. I’m not applying generic admin skills to family life; I understand family life, because I’ve spent my career inside it.

Families brought me in again and again for the same reason: I take things off their plate without needing to be told twice, and I do it with total discretion. Bec N Call uses that same approach, so you have consistent, trusted support exactly when you need it. This approach rooted in my own life, too — when I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my son, family and friends, reading a good book, or travelling to new places, and I bring the same value I place on my family into how I support yours.
